Maternal and Family Health Services is the New WIC Nutrition Program Provider in Bucks County Starting October 1st
Bristol, Pennsylvania: Maternal and Family Health Services (MFHS) will be the new provider of the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program in Bucks County effective October 1st, 2021. The current WIC provider, Bucks County Department of Health, and MFHS are working together with the Pennsylvania Bureau of WIC to ensure a successful transition with uninterrupted access to WIC services for families in Bucks County.
MFHS is a nonprofit organization with 47 years of experience in delivering the WIC Nutrition Program in 16 Pennsylvania counties. WIC participants will have uninterrupted access to WIC benefits as MFHS transitions into Bucks County. MFHS has announced three new WIC Nutrition Program locations in Bucks County that will open on October 1st:

MFHS is contacting all Bucks County WIC clients about the move and the location of their new appointments. If you have questions about appointments scheduled for October 1st or after, please call MFHS at 1-800-367-6347 ext. 1019, ext. 1119, or ext. 1054. WIC remains open at current Levittown and Quakertown locations until September 24.
WIC nutrition services are free and available for pregnant, breastfeeding, or postpartum women, infants and children under age 5 who have a nutritional need and meet income eligibility guidelines. WIC provides eWIC benefits to purchase healthy foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, farmers market vouchers, and referrals for other health and social services.
