Hazleton WIC Featured in Standard Speaker
Many people in our community know the Women, Infants, and Children program provides healthy food to mothers and children. However, many more do not know that many working families still qualify for WIC, and that the program offers many other services to the community. When the Hazleton Standard Speaker asked to highlight the local WIC office, we were thrilled to show them all that WIC has to offer.
The Standard Speaker article takes a behind the scenes look at all of the components of the WIC program, including nutritional counseling, breastfeeding support, and the farmer’s market nutrition program.
