WIC Nutrition > PA WIC Food List

The Pennsylvania WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) Food List is a guide that helps WIC participants choose approved, nutritious foods using their WIC benefits. It outlines which foods are allowed—such as fruits and vegetables, whole grains, dairy, infant foods, and other healthy staples—and provides brand, size, and variety details to make shopping easier and ensure families receive the nutrition they need for healthy growth and development.

*NEW* April 2026

Exciting changes to the WIC Food Packages are coming in April 2026 that may affect what your food package looks like. Your MFHS WIC team will be there to help you walk through and understand these changes and how they will affect you. Families will be able to buy fruits and vegetables in more ways—not just fresh, but also frozen, canned, and dried. These changes give families more options all year long and help reduce food waste. The updates also match new WIC food package rules, making the program simpler and more flexible for families to use.

Talk to your WIC Team at your next visit to learn more about the changes you can expect to see.
