Maternal and Family Health Services (MFHS) has been named a Gold Winner for Women’s Health in the 2026 Times Leader Best of the Best.

The Times Leader Best of the Best is a community recognition contest that highlights organizations, businesses, and services across Northeastern Pennsylvania. Each year, readers are invited to vote for the organizations they trust and value most. The final results reflect the voices and experiences of the people who live and work in the region.

Being named a Gold Winner represents the highest level of recognition within a category. For MFHS, being recognized in Women’s Health reflects the role our organization plays in supporting women and families throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania.

For more than 50 years, MFHS has worked to improve access to health and nutrition services for women, children, and families. We focus on delivering care that is accessible and responsive to individual needs. MFHS serves communities across a wide geographic area and continues to focus on expanding access to care, especially in areas where services may be limited. Our work is centered on meeting people where they are and supporting long-term health and well-being.

This recognition highlights both the impact of that work and the continued support of the NEPA community.
