Treating Hormonal Imbalances in Scranton

Hormone treatment at MFHS helps you diagnose and treat a variety of hormone-related conditions. Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) can be used for hormonal imbalances without a known cause, or related to PCOS, perimenopause, or menopause.

Menopause

MFHS is dedicated to supporting women’s menopausal health. Hormone replacement therapy for menopausal women should begin within 10 years of being menopausal and under age 60. Benefits of HRT in the menopausal woman typically outweigh the associated risk. HRT helps to resolve common menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes night sweats mood swings, brain fog in addition to: 

  • Decreased risk of heart disease 
  • Decreased risk for cognitive loss   
  • Improved skin elasticity 
  • Preventing bone loss

Hypothyroidism

Diagnosis and treatment of subclinical hypothyroidism and hypothyroidism can be done with different holistic treatment options as well as pharmaceutical or compounded medication options. We’ll find the treatment option that works best for you.

Infertility

If you are struggling on your pregnancy journey and suspect infertility, we are here to help. At MFHS, we use hormone therapy to check your hormone levels and check for low progesterone. Together, we can discuss treatment options and/or next steps.
